You can’t muscle your way to moving better
I know it seems like if you work harder on your form and follow the cues the pros say on repeat, you should be able to move like a rodeo clown dodging a bull—and walk away without a scratch. (Okay, maybe not the best analogy. But have you seen those guys move?)
But the reality is, we all develop habits that lead to crappy movement patterns. And one thing most people are pretty lousy at? Breathing.
You take about 25,000 breaths a day. Whether you realize it or not, those breaths affect everything else you do. If they aren’t working for your body, they’re working against it.
So if you don’t fix that, nothing else is really doing what you want it to. You can stretch, squeeze, or squat all you want… but you’ll keep reinforcing the same problems.

The workshop starts with an alignment and posture check so you know exactly where you’re starting from—and we’ll revisit your alignment at the end of the workshop so you can see what has changed.
Then we’ll assess your breath—so you can understand your go-to strategies and whether they’re helping or hurting.
We’ll also look at how you stand and how that’s affecting the way you move. You’ll even learn about your jaw and tongue position and what they mean.
LEARN BREATH AND POSTURE
This is where you’ll learn how you should be breathing—and how to get from where you are to where you need to be.
You’ll get clear on what should move, what shouldn’t, and how to release the tension that’s been getting in your way.
Then you’ll learn “The Stack”—how to align your ribcage over your pelvis so your breath and posture are in the optimal position for breath and core function.
INTEGRATE YOUR BREATH & POSTURE
This is where the rubber meets the road. Take what you learned and practice how to use it in real life.
It starts with connecting the breath to the core. You can expect to learn some new core exercises that turn on your core—without crunches.
Once we have connected your core and breath, we are going to take that into basic human moves like the squat, hinge, lunge, push, and pull. This section of the workshop is based on and modified for your needs.

With 30 years in the fitness world, I’ve seen it all. From shake-weights to overhyped “fixes” that promise fast results and leave people feeling worse, not better.

My approach is rooted in real movement—the kind that helps you feel better, move better, and build the strength, mobility, and resilience you need to keep doing what you love for decades to come.
I teach what most others skip—the foundation.
I got tired of watching people push through pain, hold tension they didn’t even know they had, and chase workouts they weren’t ready for. So I built programs that focus on what matters most: breathing well, moving well, and building a rock-solid foundation your body can rely on—for life.
That’s what led to The Breath Reset and Body Reset Lab—two workshops designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and finally understand how your body is meant to work.

YES! This class is going to help you find dysfunctions and work in different positions that will help you customize a breath work plan for yourself.

YES! I spend a lot of time with new clients, relearning to breathe. If there was one thing I wish they had learned before working with me, it is this! The better breather you are, the better foundation you have for challenging exercises.

The temperature in my space can be chilly sometimes. Please wear comfortable clothes for exercise and bring layers. No jeans or clothing that is constricting to movement. Wear gym-type shoes, and please bring a mat.
