DOG HANDLER LONGEVITY & PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP
Handle and train without pain.
The place where two-legged team members train their half of the team to move, breathe and recover 😉
You deserve to feel as good as the dogs you love
I get it. The dogs need you and they come first.
You invest everything into your dogs while your own body is put on the back burner. I see the pain, the braces, the exhaustion — and I know you still want to show up at your best for them.
And they need you to be at your best. So, put your oxygen mask on first. 😉
Here, I put you first. So you can handle, train and compete with your dogs strong and pain-free for many years to come.
SOUND FAMILIAR

SOUND FAMILIAR ↓
Put your hand up if any of this is you:
You love what you do and you want to feel good doing it for the rest of your life
You don’t want your dogs to lose training ground so you push through pain or exhaustion
Your back, hips or shoulders ache from running, bending, lifting crates and moving dogs.
You spend more time conditioning your dog than conditioning yourself.
You’ve tried stretching or random exercises, but still feel stiff, unstable or slow
You want your body to be able to keep up with high drive dogs for the rest of your life
You’ve been injured before and know you need to work on mobility and strength
The good news? You don’t have to choose between your dogs and your body.
You also don’t have to spend hours in a gym to move strong, stay resilient and keep up with every dog you handle.
THE TRUTH
Strong, agile dogs need to be lead by strong, mobile humans
Dog training and handling put you in the same positions and movements over and over. That repetition creates imbalances in your own body. If you don’t regularly train your body to move the way it was designed, you compensate — and compensation leads to tightness, weakness and pain.
The good news? With the right training you can rebuild those patterns and stop reinforcing the weaknesses that leave you vulnerable.
If you want longevity working with dogs, you have to work on your own mobility and strength — but you don’t need hours in a gym.
Focusing on the foundation of movement — breath and mobility — can be done in less time than you think.
Move better and you don’t just feel better now — you keep up with high-drive dogs for years to come.
And when you take the time to train your body— you move better and feel better.
And when you feel better you communicate better with your dog.
Imagine what it will feel like when you…
END TRAINING SESSIONS WITH ENERGY
Handle, run and train dogs without limping to your car or collapsing on the couch for the rest of the night. Walk off the field with enough energy left for the rest of your life — not just recovery.
DON’T NEED TO BRACE, PATCH OR MEDICATE
Bend, lift, sprint and squat without taping joints, popping painkillers or strapping on supports. Feel confident your body can do the work without living with the scent of Ben-Gay every day.
AREN’T WORRIED ABOUT YOUR FUTURE
Know your body can keep up with high-drive dogs for years to come. No more wondering if pain or injury will end your career or your sport early. You know what your body needs to keep going.
YOU BOUNCE RIGHT BACK WHEN YOU HAVE A MISHAP
Slip, trip or get yanked and recover quickly instead being sidelined. Build the strength and control to handle surprises dynamically and without lasting damage.
This is possible for you—by training the foundation of human movement
You’ve invested everything into your dogs and ignored how integral your own body is to the team — until now.

INTRODUCING THE DOG HANDLER LONGEVITY & PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP
Move better to lead better
You spend hours shaping your dog’s skills and conditioning but almost no time training your own body for the same demands. Long days of handling, bending, running, lifting and reacting create movement patterns — the automatic ways your body moves and compensates — that drain your energy and stress your joints.
This workshop is built for the two-legged team member: simple, targeted training to help you move with more strength, stability, mobility and control — so you can lead your dog with confidence and keep doing what you love for years to come.
If this is completely new to you, you’re not alone. Most people never learn any of this.
The Dog Handler Longevity & Performance Workshop is a focused, hands-on session where you’ll learn how to find your functional posture, strengthen your core, improve your mobility and use your breath for lasting stability and control.
You’ll walk away moving better, feeling more connected, and knowing exactly how to support the way your body was designed to move — for the long haul.
WHY THE DOG HANDLER LONGEVITY & PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP?
Because if you don’t build your foundation on how your body is designed to move, you’ll eventually wear a brace like a favorite accessory.
The Dog Handler Longevity & Performace Workshop meets you where you are, delivers quick wins, and reboots your team.
It’s the first step to building resilience, performance, and longevity.
Whether you’re into dog sports, training dogs all day or the proud parent of high prey drive dog (Hi 👋🏻 That’s me)... it starts here.
GET READY TO FEEL WHAT TEAMWORK IS SUPPOSED TO FEEL LIKE
Here's what happens when you prioritize your own movement:
HANDLING FEELS SMOOTHER & EASIER
Your body responds when you need it. Running, pivoting, bending, and lifting gear feel natural instead of forced — so you stay in sync with your dog instead of figuring out how to maneuver your body.
CLEARER CUES TO YOUR DOG
When your core, breath, and mobility work together, your timing and signals are cleaner. Your dog reads you faster and reacts more predictably because your body isn’t sending mixed messages.
YOU STOP CARRYING DAILY ACHES AS A GIVEN
That nagging shoulder, hip, or back tension you’ve been living with starts to fade. You feel lighter and recover quicker, even after long training days with high-drive dogs
YOU’RE READY FOR SURPRISES
Slip, trip, sudden change of direction — you bounce back instead of being sidelined. Breath, core, and mobility training give you the stability and control to handle the unexpected .
WHAT TO EXPECT
Here’s what we’ll dive into together during this hands-on, 2-hour workshop:
FIND OUT WHERE YOU STAND
We start with an alignment and posture check so you know exactly where you’re starting from. We’ll revisit it at the end so you can see what’s changed.
You’ll also assess your breathing patterns to understand your go-to strategies — which ones are helping you handle dogs, and which ones may be setting you up for strain. Then we’ll look at how you move joint-by-joint to find where you need mobility most for the work you do with dogs.
CONNECT YOUR BREATH & CORE
Learn how to breathe the way your body was designed to breathe — and how to use that breath to stabilize your core under the demands of handling, running, bending, and lifting.
You’ll get clear on what should move and what shouldn’t, and how to release the tension that’s been getting in your way. Then you’ll learn a technique and practice so that your posture automatically supports you without thinking about it.
HEAD TO TOE MOBILITY
Next, we’ll take the breathing skills you’ve just learned and apply them to simple, joint-by-joint mobility drills you’ve probably never tried before.
With your input, we’ll look at the movements you repeat most when handling dogs and show you how to undo the compensations and stiffness that build up over time.
This part of the workshop is adapted to the people in the room, and we’ll finish with an open Q&A.

Happy Clients, happy bodies

HEY, I’M RACHEL!
Here to restore your connection to movement—and your body.
With 30 years in the fitness world and education in physical therapy, I’ve seen it all — from shake-weights to overhyped “fixes” that promise fast results and leave people feeling worse, not better. I created something different inside Humans Move.
If you’re tired of limping off the field, bracing joints, or wondering how long your body can keep up with your dogs, you’re in the right place.
I didn’t plan on having a high-drive dog myself — but one found me. My dog Sunny was supposed to be a Ridgeback mix, but, she is actually Dutch Shepherd X GSD. I’ve always stayed fit, but, suddenly I found myself using and abusing my body in ways that I never experienced — not even working with my horses! I saw firsthand how easily your own body can fall behind the demands of training dogs. Everything I teach now is what helped me keep up and bounce back from Sunny injuries.
My approach is rooted in real movement — the kind that helps you feel better, move better, and build the strength, mobility and resilience you need to keep doing what you love for decades to come. I teach what most others skip — the foundation.
I got tired of watching people push through pain, hold tension they didn’t even know they had, and power through workouts they weren’t ready for. So I built programs that focus on what matters most: breathing well, moving well, and building a rock-solid foundation your body can rely on — for life.
That’s what led to the Dog Handler Longevity & Performance Workshop — a hands-on training designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and finally understand how your body is meant to work, so you can keep leading your dog with confidence.
Whether you’re coming back from injury, stuck in pain, or just want to stay strong and capable as the years go by — I’m here to help you feel and move like an athlete, at every age.
Is The Dog Handler Longevity & Performance Workshop for you?
It’s for you if:
Feeling good now and staying capable of handling your dog in the future matters to you.
You value doing things the right way vs the rushed way.
You want to learn more about your body so you can move better, handle better, and help your dog understand you better.
You’re here for no pain, more gain—and done with the old “no pain, no gain” grind
It’s not for you if:
Longevity and future health aren’t something you care to think about.
You’re not willing to invest even a little time outside dog training to make your body more resilient.
You believe in mind over matter and push through no matter how your body feels.
You’d rather slap a brace on it, pop pills, or get your joints replaced.

It’s a hands-on session light on lecture. You’ll be moving, but at your own pace. Think guided practice, not a bootcamp. You’ll leave with tools you can use on your own.

Yes—most handlers train their dogs far more than they train their own bodies. This workshop helps you become resilient, move with ease and give clearer cues to your dog.
